It will work no problem, just select the TomTom ov2 file fromat, then the database format you require (single file/ consoladated by type or speed zoned (the best IMHO) then unzip the download, and copy/ paste the files straight to the sat nav, paste the files into the GB map folder then configure the warn when near POI for each camera type. this is located in preferences/ manage POI - Mike |

Wow, thanks so much for the fast response - I never imagined I'd get it done tonight! :D Everything's gone onto the TT1 and it's all marked up. Just need to test it out now. Where shall I go ........... |

Try using the "Advanced Planning" option and set a route past a few known local cameras, if you don't have any near by try entering a departure post code of FY43NN, and a destination of PR41AX (any house numbers that the unit will accept - try number 1 in each case) you should get a Gatso Warning followed by a Mobile warning within a couple of mins.
To view the route select "view Route" then "show Route Demo", set it to a speed of 100% before pressing done.
Its late so why bother going out when you can do this check in the comfort of your house? - Mike |

Richard,
Thanks for your input. I realise now that when I posted my original plea for help I was looking at the POI capture software versions (D'oh) not the speed camera download page.
I don't know if you're familiar with the windscreen in a Disco, but it's very shallow and steep, and to the eye seems quite flat, too. I'll try it on other areas - there must be a reason why it's not sealing properly. |

It does not give the x10's any extra functionality. _________________ Richard
