|

I am puzzled.Using POI-edit I have downloaded the speed camera database going to United Kingdom , then checking Pocketgps_uk_sc and proceeding as instructed - all seemed well. I kept a copy on my PC and happened to double click on it whereupon a list of cameras with their longitude and latitude was shown, but with the heading in the top left of Benelux !!
Where have I gone wrong ?

It's because POIEdit isn't just an automated downloader, it's an editor too, basically you have opened up the OV2 file and are at the point of editing it. |

Sorry.I'm still not clear - my 'puzzlement' was why it was headed 'Benelux' and not UK.( and the actual lat/longs do not all seem to be in the UK boundary)??

If you are talking about the pul down combo box (top left) that shows Benelux, this is just something the author of POIEdit has put in and to also show a map of Benelux on the left. Nothing to do with the database.
All lat and longs won't be in UK boundary because as of the last release we have added cameras from Europe. If you look at the Safety Camera page at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php this will be shown on our map. |
