Thought I just answered this.
If you are "sysinfo" from "YourNav" I just answered you there with the same question plus a bit more.
But basically from Mullet. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

You also need to check whether "Mullets" sounds are suitable for your SatNav.
extended at the beginning with another noise before the main announcement.

1. 22050Hz and 16000Hz.
2. Also an increase in volume.

Thanks Mullet (and Oldfogy)...
Got the files, used poi extend but I don't have enough space when I try and copy across data.chk and ttn file to my TTgo 300. I have deleted all voices but one and even tried slightly reducing the number of different sounds in my data.chk file by using gatso for gatso var and gatso TBA and the same for mobile and SPEC. But files are still too big. Is there anything else I can safely delete as I would rather not have to buy a new SD card. |

They were from the man himself.... I'm sure he won't mind sharing them.
Mail him or me and one of us can send them. _________________ Steve

1. How much more space do you need?
2. What size card have you got now?
Bare in mind you should always have a small amount free for working.
I don't know if deleting any of the other POIs that you don't need will give you much more room.
SD cards are not expensive and would obviously solve your problem.
If you go for a new card, just create a backup, the re-store to the new card. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

The difference between my modified data.chk and my Tomrom original is <1MB. |

can anybody please help a beginner, can rays poi extended warnings be down loaded onto a tt910 (v6.11) and if so can you supply instructions as i have lots of good wav files from ages ago for my old ttnav 5 for all sorts of spoken warnings that aren't around any more. i'm sure i wont be the only one asking for this info as more tt910's are bought.
thanks

If you are using a 910 simple enable a computer voice (kate springs to mind) then when you set-up the warn when near POI option for each POI file you can type in whatever you want the unit to say to you, use the "Type in your own warning" option and enter the text you want the device to say, it is limitted to 60 characters, have a read through THIS whilst it is a guide for speed cameras you can use this for any POI you like (TomTom Go-910 ONLY) - Mike |

thanks mike for your reply.
i know how all that works but you have to have a computer voice only, as i have the tomtom john cleese voice it would be good if we could have both working together, maybe someone will make a program soon for that to happen. does that mean that us tt910 users can't use rays extended poi warner then.

I'm probably being a thikko here, but can anyone tell me if it's possible to have PGPSW's camera warning voices AND a few bells and beeps? I downloaded the spoken camera warnings a little while ago and assigned them to the appropriate POIs, but when I passed a MacDonalds yesterday (which I had added previously), TomTom told me it was a Gatso. Obviously I need to re-assign non-camera POIs a different sound warning, but I've replaced them.
Any suggestions gratefully received. _________________ menenlily

Unfortunately I think the answer to your question is NO, (at least not at the moment) as all the pre-made sounds are now being used by your speed camera notifications.
However.
There are a couple of programs around on "Rays" site that will allow you to make your own sound menu.
If you look back at some of the earlier questions you will see this type of problem has occurred already with possible solutions.
Also take a look around from the link below.
One of which is the "Extended Poi's" unfortunately at the moment I don't think it will handle v6.15, when it is compatible it will allow you to have a lot more than just the standard 15 sounds.
