Hi all,
I totally agree, due to the amount of people now aquiring these devices
the C510E and the C710 and the fact that the mitac helpline/ after sales
service is basically non-existent it would be beneficial to all.
I am due to recieve my C510E on tuesday (not from pixmania by the way ) and so far have picked up a few tips just by checking out things on here, but it would be a lot easier if everything was in the same place.
Shouldnt be tha much of a job....should it?
Regards....DIL _________________ ***************************************

HI anarchyuk,
I had ordered mine from global also and when I checked on the phone with them about the delivery, was told wasnt now due in till the 27th, so I cancelled that order and phoned Handtec, who have them in stock. Obviously being 5pm on a saturday night, cant send it till monday and I have paid for next day delivery....so hopefully will be here on tuesday. Just because you have it on order doesnt mean you cant cancel if it isnt in stock, they dont deduct your payment till the goods are ready to be sent out.
Regards....Dil _________________ ***************************************

No I was speaking about the mon C510 and E710 I think they are called a nd spped camera s downloads etc. I understand you can get speed cameras downloads direct from thie site.
In the past i had a nuvi 300 and downloaded speed cameras database from her which resulted in getting a warning from the unit when driving at 12 mph in a 70mph and being ifnormed that i was breaking spped limit.
I need a device that will cover Northern Ireland and South Ireland, had been thinking os the Road Anglea 600 but it only does north, have also looked at Medion Go Pal but not sure.
Some information on download of the speed camaers database on the Mio would be useful
Thanks
