Having just got an XDA Exec I am at a loss as to how to configure it to use with my TOMTOM Nav3.
Up to now was using an XDAIIi with Holux CR100 GPS cradle.
Any ideas as to set up this Exec thing for use with TOMTOM ??
Ie: where to power my PDA from ?? Do I need to get another cable to pluf into my Cig lighter ?? But then again I already have the cradle plugged in there..
Any suggestions would be a great help. |

You have a number of problems here, firstly I am not aware that anyone has managed to load and get working TomTom navigator 3 on a WM2005 device (as your Exec is equipped with).
Secondly the Exec can only accept information from a GPS unit via Bluetooth or via its SDIO slot, you cannot connect the GPS to the mini USB port it wont work.
The only answer I can offer with a successful outcome is for the cigy socket, Maplins sell a One to Two addaptor which allows multiple devices off a single socket, but make sure you plug the lead into a voltage regulated addaptor, the raw 12V will simply fry the new toy - Mike |
