OOOPS, you get the database here

http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras

You have to be a paid up member, and logged on to download it. £19 a year, or £2 for a month.

I've deleted the Double Post to keep the replies in one place.;)

At which point do you become stuck?

You need to tell TT you want to be warned about the cameras. Go into change settings, then manage POIs then warn when near. Scroll down the list until you see tyhe pocketgps cameras and choose one, set up the distance before it that the warning will be given and the sound. UNTICK the warn when on route box. Repeat for all of the cameras. Simple as that.

The ONE has built in POI Warnings. You will need the Speed Zoned Files to be able to see which Speed the Camera is set to detect.

In Manage POI you can set up Warn When Near for the Warnings.

Went to London and the cameras worked fine and warned me well in advance except the speed and type of camera doesn't appear, does anyone know why??? I'm starting to wish that i joined tomtom's speed camera database rather than this one as i have tried soooo many times. The files exist i can see the different speeds etc in the Great Britain folder but it won't appear on the tomtom. Any ideas???

Thanks Sad

Which camera file did you download? The Single File won't give you a type/speed warning but the Speed Zoned will.

What do you mean by "POI enabler"?

See above.

Common opinion suggests that you are better off with the one from this site.

How many other POIs have you added? There is a limit to the number of extra POIs you can load. One you exceed the limit, results are unpredictable!

As BGF says, can you tell us the EXACT names of the POI files you have loaded, as you might have a ) loaded both the speed-zoned AND the non-speed-zoned files and they are conflicting, or b ) loaded too many in total, in which case some (not neccessarily the last ones installed) will simply be ignored.

This guide will give you general info about the different databases. And this one, which you've probably already read, is specifically about loading onto your One.
