|
|
I have just received an e-mail from NAVMAN Europe, stating that as a valued customer I am entitled to an ICN530 at the bargain price of £209 inc VAT and delivery.
Since I only bought a 3450 jacket for my iPAQ two years ago from them I'm a bit wary. This sounds too good to be true considering how new it is.
Is it a genuine offer, as I am sorely tempted to go for it, or just some scam?
Anyone else received this e-mail?

That's a good deal - even beats the Pipeline/Navman offer that went out recently! _________________ TTG 720

if you put your billing address as a euro country (but put the rest as a uk address) and put the UK address as a normal address, it works out at £185 |

It's genuine, I purchased mine from the pipeline offer then had an e-mail from Navman with their offer. I complained to Navman and they refunded me 30 quid. How good is that.

I bought a 530 through the Pipeline offer for £239 before i saw the loyalty offer, i e-mailed Navman as i already had a 610 and they replied the day after and credited me with £30! Top Chaps
Works much better than the 610 i had. |

How does that work? How can you put in a valid billing address in a country you don't live in? Surely the credit card order wouldn't go through? |

Investigating this further, it seems that you can get the French version of the 530 from the Navman site for a mere £167! However, it doesn't look as if it comes with the Euro maps CD, which would make it kind of useless here in the UK! Shame. |
