I have recently installed the speed camera POI to my BMW navivator III all seems well except for when I encounter speed camera's the speed shown is way beneath the actual speed limit. For instance in a 30 zone I was shown a 19mph limit and in mosty 40 zones it showes between 21 and 25 mph. I have checked and all is set to miles per hour. |

Hi, Don't know anything about your sat nav, but a common problem on the Navman's is to download the database in KPH instead of MPH, you have to delete it and download it again in MPH, or something like that, don't know if it is the same for yours, 19KPH is 30MPH, so it may be the same. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

i have a feeling that the bmw system is garmin based did you set a speed limit or distance limit in the poi loader when you sent the files to the nav system _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

Remember it is not the units your sat nav is set to but rather the units POILoader was set to when you used it to load the POIs _________________ Peter

When you say you have made sure mph is set are you talking about on the sat nav unit? If so is not what you need to check - you need to check what is set in POI Loader, because all of your symptons are classic for that being set for kph, rather than the sat nav unit. _________________ Peter

I understand, when the poi loader comes on it askes for either mph and feet or kph and meters, I highlite mph and feet then next then it loads your POI. |

if its built in the i doubt it will take custom pois most built systems wont allow users to add poi themselves _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .
