|
|
I've searched and searched and cannot find an answer to this, i have a new i3 with firmware ver 3.00, audio ver 2.5 and v8 maps.
I've downloaded the 'zoned' speed cam poi's and also the poi's from MaFt.
I've used POIloader to upload these and this has been succesful, however, i cannot get the speedo to display in MPH. I have ensured that this is selected in POIloader and it seems to make no difference.
I have cleared all poi's done a full reset and uploaded again using ver 2.3.1 and ver 2.0 of POIloader and still my speedo is in kmh.
Am i missing something staringly obvious here?? |

Have you set the unit to mph?
Go to Settings, System, Units, and set to Statute. _________________ Anita

As Anita says the i3 must be set to Statute. The MPH / KPH switch in POILoader only affects the way the POIs work and not the i3 itself. |

Excuse me, would you care to expand on that please? |

In a nutshell i was saying that by setting the POILoader switch to MPH or KPH doesn't affect the units the i3 is set to but just in what unit type the data is loaded (i.e. the data in the original files is in MPH but selecting KPH on POILoader gets it converted to KPH). If the unit types aren't the same it'll lead to errors like the one above - VERY common thread. |

Thanks - I guessed that was what it might be, but to paraphrase Pooh Bear - You never can tell with software. :-) |
