I own a wired tom tom gps receiver used with a pda. I move this from vehicle to vehicle as necessary. On some vehicles the cigar lighter doesn't work. If i bought a 'self' powered gps receiver, could i switch between both of them easily. Would tom tom automatically recognise which one was in use when it was switched on. Thanks. |

In short no, TomTom would have to be "told" which GPS to use as one comunicates via Bluetooth, the other from the serial port, - its a simple configuration change to flick between the two different device though, a few seconds when required - Mike |
