Hi all, Have been messing about with some images and found I could change the screen on the nuvi when starting up. So have produced the one below, with a welsh theme and reg no, so if it does go "missing" then it might? find its way back. Along with the garminlock facility might be usefull.

I've put a "This is a secured device, and is the property of....." ..."Please return for a reward if found" message on mine along with my phone number.
You never know it might come in useful if I drop the bleedin' thing and some nice sole picks it up! |

Nice logo dilcymro. First time I've noticed but that Nuvi is a nice looking piece of kit. The trouble now being how do I convince my other half that my recently purchsed i3 isn't really the tool for the job and that I need an upgrade _________________ Ignorance is no excuse ! |

Thank you wherethehellarewe,
I thought the i3 was the beesknees till I got the nuvi, works well as a bluetooth, the mp3 player is ok, sounds a bit tinny but otherwise fine. Mapping is good and the connection is pretty quick, also the bigger screen is a lot better. Sold my i3 to a colleague in work for £80, so my nuvi cost me £219. All in all am very happy and glad I upgraded, I would have gone for the 360 but being in the sticks didnt think I would need all the traffic info.
