I've just brought the Nuvi 310 Deluxe and downloaded the speed camera database on it from here. I selected the speed zone version....now whenever i get near the speed limit or over it, it keep flashing a warning and beep at me about my speed.
How to i stop this or should i have just downloaded the single file version?
Thanks |

So let me get this straight; you want to exceed the speed limit whilst approaching a camera, and you don't want your SatNav to warn you!? |

I was wondering why exactly did you install the speedcams, as the idea is that they do actually warn you when you approach a speed cam and also if you go over the speed limit till you adjust your speed to the one in force. So why ask how to turn it off, simple answer , dont install.
What exactly were you expecting?

no! the sat nav goes off even if there is not a camera about for miles!!!
The camera part is fine, however no matter where i drive it goes off warning that my speed is approaching the limit or if i go over it....example is motorways lip roads etc etc and places where there is NOT a camera within sevral miles on me
Dont worry though i'm sorted it now. |
