|
|
Hi All,
Had a search but could not find the solution to this. I have TomTom Navigator 5 and have been using on an IPAQ perfectly for ages. Just purchased an O2 XDA Exec. Installed tomtom and the updates.
Now i am trying to conenct to my tomtom wired GPS, it didn't see it, so i did the reg hacks to show GPS in the connections menu but still no joy. What ports to i need to set for the tomtom wired GPS to work? |

I've been using TT5 on an XDA Exec for a few weeks now with several long journeys and so far no real problems.
( Having seen the comments on here I've used a high-speed SD card from day 1. :D )
Only thing I've found is that the re-routing when TT Traffic reports a problem doesn't always happen as the system seems to underestimate the delay time on the original route. Dunno what the threashold is, but it kept me on the motorway even when it said it would add 30 min to the journey! 8O |

I've almost completelly given up on tttraffic! the plugin is great, but the data is completely useless 90% of the time. I can be doing 70 down the motorway with traffic telling me there is a 30 min delay or stuck in traffic for an hour with traffic telling me no delay! it's only been right about a delay twice this year for me! |

Ok, the only problem i have now is traffic and plus.
Every time i close and reopen tomtom i have to add my tomtom plus account again! Sounds like something is write protected, but don't know what to look for.
When i do type my plus account in and activate traffic it can not update and says check internet connection. I know the internet is working because it has just authd my plus account!
I use O2 GPRS/3G for the internet connection. I have also tried using my home and work wireless networks but it's the same.
Any idea on either of these? |
