|
|
Off to Malorca in a couple of weeks so I am keen to have all of the maps loaded. So I've installed all Western European onto SD. However, When I try and look for Malorca under Espana, it's not there. It just lists places 1 - 99. But does this mean that when I arrive in Spain it will pick up a signal and away you go ?
You see I was hoping to do a few planned route planners first.
Any Ideas....................

Do you mean Mallorca the island? Try searching for towns, such as Palma de Mallorca. The 99 is just the limitations of the list; if you type in b, for istance then you will get the first 99 places beginning with B and if you then type in o then the list will change to places beginning with Bo, and so on. _________________ Tim |

Thanks for that advice but no sign of Palma de Mallorca, so I put in the Zip Code of my hotel and it would'nt recognise that either ? |

Hmm, not sure why not. I loaded SE Spain onto my 530 this morning and it is there. Did you change the country to España after selecting 'Go to'? Palma de Mallorca is listed under Baleares. _________________ Tim |

Problem was that the map of South East Spain had been loaded onto card but was not being recognised by ICN. Accepted map on second reload, sod's law really that the out of all those maps the one that I required was playing up!! |
