Any way to show POI on the maps

Is there any way to have selected POIs show up on the map without having to add them to a route as via points? E.G I woud like to have Shell petrol stations shown or ATM but don't want to have to add them specifically to my route. I think it would be useful if you could just choose which POI you would like shown on the maps at all times.

They show up on my map, but only when zoomed in considerably. Right now you can't do much about that, but iGO are working on an improved POI handling.

Ok, I'll try that. Although I have zoomed into around 50m and haven't seen any. Perhaps there weren't any POIs in the areas at the time..

if your zoomed out to between 250 and 500 yards then you will a blue dot for the poi you have zoom in closer to see what it is
