Tell you what, folks. bloody glad I haven't, and won't, part with £100 for the bug fix yet, seems to me that CP6 has more, yet different, bugs than CP5.
ALK must be be raking it in.
Wait for CP7..................................then buy a Garmin!!

Whilst not disagreeing with many of your points, I did upgrade and have no regrets.
On balance, I find CP6 much better than CP5, and of course the maps are more up-to-date.
While I would not say the upgrade price is a bargain, it is certainly in line with what you would expect to pay for updated maps. |

I agree. The current version of CP6 is definitely better than CP5. As to whether people think that it is worth the upgrade charge is a personal choice. _________________ Ian

Quite; and how a person weights their requirements, and consequently the costs of the upgrade - maps or application, will also be a significant decider.
I also fully accept, that if I were in GrimBeard's situation with his requirements, I may have decided not to upgrade. |
