Medion MD95233 destinations missing

Hi I have reinstalled Navigator 4.4 and maps on the above sat nav system.
Everything seems to work, but when I select great britain, and then put in a town to navigate to, there are no options in the dropdown list. F

For example if I put in NOR for NORTHWICH, or MAN for MANCHESTER, the list is completely empty. I have copied the UK map directory onto the storage card, and can actually see the UK map in map view, but am obviously doing something wrong.

I have reinstalled a couple of times and still get the same problems.

Can anyone offer any advice ?

Might sound silly but did you format the card before installing the software onto it.

I have formatted the card, reinstalled the application and copied the UK map directory onto the card.

Still having the same problems.

Anyone else any ideas?
