Do you have a list of names and postcodes?
It's much easier to create the POI files in Autoroute and then convert them to Navman format. _________________ Tim |

What I'm trying to do is have the custom POI icon appear on the main screen as I'm driving along (like all the other standard POI icons) but not have the icon pop up on the left side of the screen as you get close to it (like the speed camera ones do). Is that possible? I've turned off the audio warning ok. Will try de-activating one set of POIs to see what happens. _________________ TTG 720

http://www.poihandler.com/index.asp
This is an excellent site for POI's. You have to register but it is free and they keep all the POI's up to date on a daily basis. You have to pay for Safety Camera POI's but all others are free once registered. The POI's work with Navman. You download a CSV and BMP file and load the CSV file exactly the same way as the ASF files from elsewhere. |

Just unzip the files (you should see a .csv file). Start up the SmartST desktop software. Go to POI editor. Open up the .csv file and then click save to device icon. Click on the settings (active, visual and audio settings) as required and select the bmp icon. Then save it! _________________ TTG 720

Save the Postcodes and addresses in an Excel file (or .asc, .csv, etc.) and then import them into Autoroute. Save the file as an .axe file and then convert the .axe file to a Tomtom .asc file using Oldie's POIConverter. (A Google search will help, or click on Oldie's www button.) This .asc file will then import directly into the Navman POIEditor. _________________ Tim |
