Hi everyone
Been trying out the new tomtom cradle for my 2210
Everything runs etc but the back of the cradle completely covers the speaker at the back of the ipac,
I suppose i am a bit mutton geof but this design severely limits the sound output even when everything is turned up full.
I wonder if anyone has perhaps modified the back, and if so how?.
I,m thinking maybe drilling a hole to uncover the speaker
Anyones thoughts, observations, warnings, etc. would be appreciated
regards
marshall

drilling a hole (or maybe even a few) sounds like a good idea. If you do that please make a before and after picture and send it to us for publication on the site.
Alternatively you could use a BT headset ;-) _________________ Lutz

hi Lutz,
Thanks for reply.
i wonder if the back of the cradle is solid or hollow?
I am concerned about wires on the inside what do you think?
have you any knowledge of wire runs?
cheers

I haven't seen one of those cradles yet but I would imagine that all cabling is at the bottom and that the back is pure plastic. Not sure though. _________________ Lutz
