I am looking at buying my first sat nav . I am looking for something that will get me along side roads in France . Any recommendations please

ive moved it here so might get more answers
you want something with european coverage then the navman 530 looks a good buy though you will have to get a bigger storage card that what is supplied .
are you on bike or in a car when your traveling as this will influence you buying dession aswell _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

I have found garmin nuvi350 great with all major and minor roads for france and spain small and compact with expansion slot.Expensive but good. |

Tom Tom 700 (if you can still find it) is a good buy, or the 710, which is the new model that replaces the 700. Both have seamless maps of Western Europe - so you can navigate door to door across borders. _________________ Peter
