Read all about it...
One thing they've done is to try to disguise the dodgy mount connections by stopping it from powering off when it loses the power feed momentarily! |

And:
1) Why is it ONLY available via Home?
2) Why is there no mention of it at all on the main TomTom website?

Now come on Andy. Would they want lesser mortals, who don't have a x10 Device, using V6.110? _________________ Richard

Does anyone know if this cures the POI warning problem, which was that the go 910 would only warn you using a TTS warning once if the POI was the same... phew...blimey a mouth full 8O
For EXAMPLE...
Driving and going past two 70mph gatsos in a row and only being warned of the first...if that makes sense!!!!!!
My version of tomtom go 910 is:
App. 6.110 (7020/060606)
OS. 1213
GPS v1.21
Boot. 4.29
Is this the same as everyone elses???
Let us know,
Cheers |

Driving and going past two 70mph gatsos in a row and only being warned of the first...if that makes sense!!!!!! | Will check this out in the morning, upto now I have loaded the speed zoned and the single file version of the database set the single file to 100 yards, the others to the "normal" distances you use, this has the effect of re-triggering the alert so you allways get the spoken warning. For the warning sound applicable to the single file version use the TTS option and select the _ key so it doesnt play a sound.
BIG PLUS is the POICapture is now working with the new software (vs 1,06G)

I've upgraded to 6.11 on my 510 and the only difference I can see (or rather hear) is that the POI warning has changed to a different noise! |

Has the mp3 player been fixed also? Mike if you could try this out, i'm not going on any long distance drives for a while. Before i kept on getting errors like "an error has occured whilst..."
I like you VERY ingenious idea of "tricking" the go 910 by using 2 warnings. Fantastic, well done
Did you get to try out the POI warning?
Let us know,
Much appreciated,

As soon as I sent the post it upgraded! Hehe sorry all
However now in tomtom home it says when I go to my go 910 this funcionality requires an additional component click to download. But when i click download I get an error downloading this file (http://download.tomtom.com/s.../dll/navcore.6.100.7000.3.zip)
This happened once before and no one seemed to be able to help me at tomtom support. Does anyone have this file??
Regards

Before i kept on getting errors like "an error has occured whilst..." | Its early days on this one, but having just tried it on a 40 mile run (checking the POIWarnings) I did a number of power downs and restarts hitting resume for the mp3 each time five re-powers, and never suffered a problem once with the mp3, interestingly my Audio books have also re-appeared, I had given up on them to be perfectly honest!

Fantastic, well done | Good I am glad you like that, because you will need it, living in Blackpool it is very easy to access roads with loads of similar cameras at the same type/ speed (try the promenade - seven miles nine GATSO@30), as its a straight run, you get no navigation prompts to reset the device, I got the first warning then nothing but flashing cameras on the screen no audio. If you enable my dodge as posted above you get an alert for every one of them (return trip)
lydiachris wrote: | Did you get to try out the POI warning? | Yes please read above para, its still the same!!
