|
|
Hi All,
I'm a happy user of an i3 here in the UK, but I'd really like to be able to use it when I go on holiday in the States in September.
This will obviously mean getting US mapping on to it somehow. However the only way I've found is to buy the Garmin City Select DVD and use my PC to transfer the mapping (I guess I'd need a new transflash card also? - I wouldn't want to overwrite my UK mapping). I only need two states (California and Texas), so it seems a bit of a waste to buy (the pretty expensive) dvd just for this. I also won't be taking a laptop with me so I'd want to load the required maps onto it before flying over.
Has anyone any ideas about the best (and cheapest) way to get routable US maps onto my i3?
best

There have been several threads relevant.
Try MetroGuide NA v7 , it's far cheaper. |
