Best done via active sync. Donwnload TTN 5.2 from http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?Language=1&FID=3361 connect your M600 to your PC and run the setup. |

Using latest version of active sync and functioning normally?
Starting the "navupd521" file on your PC? |

For a start copy the files to the PC in a specific folder (create one on the desk top to be sure of the location), before you do this make sure as Alex has mentioned to have "show hidden files" checked in Windows Explorer go to Tools/ Folder options, select the View Tab and the show hidden files check box is displayed in the window - make sure Show Hidden files is selected.
Insert the SD card into a card reader, copy the entire contents to the new folder on the PC, then once finished swap the old card for the new one, and copy the CONTENTS of the new folder back to the new card.
DO NOT COPY THE FOLDER AS THIS WILL DESTROY THE FILE STRUCTURE. OPEN THE FOLDER AND SELCT THE CONTENTS RIGHT CLICK SELECT COPY AND THE RIGHT CLICK THE NEW MEMORY CARD SELECT PASTE.
If you have done the above already, how far into the intallation do you actually get? - Mike |
