MaFt
Can you clarify whether I should use the Speed Zoned or POI Loader format files please? I currently use the five POI Loader ones and then have to edit as per the details in my previous post.
Good to know Cbrom is around - perhaps he can tweak his program to save all the extra editing just to keep the icons on screen.
Thanks |

if you use the poilader files with cbroms utility and upload to the i3 using 'automatic' mode it should work ok.

Hi All,
Sorry for not answering your questions, but i've been rather busy with my 8 month old son of late.
I take it from reading the posts you have solved the problem with the 'always shown' option - you must used to consolidated camera files not the speed zoned ones.

Hi,
I've updated the GPX Converter. It now saves the settings on exit.
Give it a go.

hello
I have recently bought a Nuvi300.
I am using Garmins speed camera database and, I think the info relating to this is stored in a .gpx file on the nuvi's internal memory storage.
Your GPX convertor software only recognises .csv files so, my question is how do I modify the details for Garmins spped cam db which I have downloaded frfom their site?
let me know please.
thanks |

Hi i have just found this topic and would like to ask a question if i may.
I have downloaded the latest speed camera database for my Garmin C510 but the download is in GPX format and this convertor loads CSV files, am i missing something or will this convertor not work for me

Hi,
this post has been quiet for some time now...
I have been using the new POI loader and have used the speed zoned file camera database in combination with the spoken speed warnings ("warning, speed camera ahead, speed limit: 40 miles per hour").
I understand to be able to use the GPX functionality you must use the consolidated file; I think that means I can no longer use the spoken facility that also tells me the speed limit?
Thanks for your help. |

cbrom's will work if you run it on the speed-zoned files - ash10's won't
