|
|
Hi, I'm going to buy a Tom Tom One (probably) and intend subscribing to the speed camera database.
My question is: Do I have to be using a Tom Tom route for the warning to activate? Can I just have the unit switched on without following a route and still be warned if I go near a speed camera?
Cheers

Yes, you can.
In the Warn When Near Menus there is an Option to Only Warn When on Route. To Warn all the time, just leave it Unticked.;) _________________ Richard

The only problem I find when not using the warnings "On Route" is that it tends to warn of cameras not only on the other side of the road but also (around the corner).
Gets a bit frustrating at times getting a warning and not being able to see a camera.
But then at least I know next time. |
