Has anybody had a problem with the battery compartment door/cover on their i2/i3/15. Mine has fallen off due to the thin piece of plastic at the back of it which holds it in place failing. I assume Garmin will replace it free of charge under warranty, but it is still worrying.[/b] |

Comes as no suprise especially if you are using the device a lot and also in this hot sunny weather. I always use care when opening / closing as i had a similar break with a Palm and it was very difficult to get a replacement. |

Just phoned Garmin. They will send me a replacement cover in the post. It should arrive by saturday at the latest. Certainly can't fault their customer service. |

I did the same with a broken windsreen mount. I just rang them up and they sent it out first class. Infact I got two as I had also sent an email.
