I bought a Tomtom 910 this week and Im having nothing but problems
I have tried altering the settings, hard reset etc etc but my 910 will not remember the settings I give it i.e it switches the screen off when I reach over 7o mph and if I remove the tick from the volume command to work without cab noise it continues to turn down the volume?? I fear the software is bugged any help appreciated. |

Hi, I can help you with the screen turning off when you go over 70mph...
firstly you shouldn't be going this fast Haha.
If you tap the go 910 screen, under preferences, then safety preferences in the first menu, it will firstly ask you if you want to disable or enable the safety feature, ignore this and tap continue at the bottom. Here you will find where you can change the speed at which the screen turns off or have it never turn the screen off. I've set mine to 80mph as 70mph is too low especially if your wanting to overtake somebody.
Hope this helps.

Ah sorry, i thought you meant that the screen displays the next turning when you go over a set speed
Yes many people have had problems with their mounts. They have either returned it to tomtom or where they bought it from. Others have taken the mount apart and re-soldered it. As they appear to be dry-jointed.
It's up to you.
