This issue is almost always caused by problems with 'Cookies' or software that prevents our Cookie from being installed. Do you have Norton Internet Security or Zone Alarm installed? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes I do have Norton internet security installed. Please explain why this should prevent your system recognising me as a subscriber when I log in using my name and password ?

Norton Internet Security (NIS) can block 'Cookies'. These small files are widely used to track usage and or allow access to secure areas of websites. If NIS blocks our Cookies then you may experience the issue you describe.
You may find that configuring NIS to allow Cookies when visiting our website will resolve your issue. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Does that mean I always have to use the same computer. I am currently typing this from my computer at my office, which I know does accept cookies, and I am still not able to dowload the camera database after logging in !.

No you don't have to use the same computer, when you log-in each time the cookie is set. Clearly there is something amiss with your set-up, perhaps your office IT Admins have a security policy that is preventing access? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Without direct access to your PC I'm not sure what else to suggest, there are a great many others who are downloading without issue!
Are you able to test using an alternative browser such as Firefox? _________________ Darren Griffin |

No I dont have another browser, but as this is the second computer that fails to recognise my subscription status I rather think its a problem at your end, is my subscription for a year in your system rather than for a month, afterall I was able to download the the database without a problem in April immediately after I joined and signed up via paypal. Please explain how I could do that in April but not now if its a problem with my computer not accepting Cookies, as nothing has changed since then.

I thought I'd checked the subscription status but having just done so it was indicating not active. I have re-instated it and extended your subscription so it will now expire in June 07 rather than April.
Please accept my apologies for not having spotted this sooner! _________________ Darren Griffin |
