have a look on yr TomTom dvd, in the `extras` folder...........they are available as an additional category on mine along with the Comet icon......but (trust me on this, I deliver to Comet stores every day) a lot of the stores are on large retail parks and TT frequently tries to get me there by driving straight through fences and walls. I am gradually altering all the poi`s by taking a gps reading when I actually get there. Also, some arent actually named, so again I am editing the individual poi where necessary........ |

What TT dvd? AFAIK TT software comes on either CDs or SD cards. And I cannot remember seeing a Tom Tom supplied POI database for comet. _________________ Peter

There seems to be no 'extras' folder on my TT cd/dvd.
Where abouts would I find it?
Many thanks for the e-mail. |

Just to put this to rest before a million people start posting the same and wasting server space here on PGPSW.
My computer is a Panasonic CFR1, very small, very light, perfect for travelling with, except for one thing, it doesnt have a cd/dvd drive. So, as soon as I bought TT a friend of mine at work had to make a copy of all my discs into one file that I have saved on my portable firefly h/d as a backup. This file contains a folder called `extras` with hundreds of different poi categories that I have always assumed were part of the TT package, maybe they are, maybe they were, maybe its just something my mate put in the file seeing as we both deliver to Comet stores everyday and he knew they would be helpful?..
Who knows and to be honest, who cares? |

OK Kevin so we are no further forward with your query are we? There is no Comet POI list on this site, but clearly their is somewhere out there in the electronic ether. Have you tried Google? _________________ Peter
