Indeed, the pole is there (but on the south side of Whatman Road, not at the junction) but there is still no camera on it. _________________ Tim |

And we are PAYING for this now.
How do we submit cameras then. Looking at this thread if you are a few yards out then you dismiss the camera submssion. I cannot use POICapture for two reasons. 1 as soon as i add it the PDA locks up trying to reload the map. And 2 It's Illegal to drive and use the PDA at the same time.
So what i see from this is if i send a mail saying that there is a camera on the M40 near junction 9 that is no longer there, it gets thrown out by your software. Equally if i sendon saying that there is now a camera there the same happens.
I want my money back and still no one has answered me. You are selling goods under false pretenses. You are as bad as the people erecting the cameras themselves. |

poi capture locks up on the first use of the application as the map need to reload after first use after that it should work fine
the second quote is standard enough to me and appears in at least one points of interest cd i bought of low bridge heights downloaded opera and bought it and that condition is there in both terms and conditions although in the case of opera it was worded slighty differently _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. I was so confident about their inclusion, that I deleted completely the April update that I'd modified on my TomTom! (Note to self, make a back-up next time!!) |
I find it easier to leave the main database unchanged and make all my own changes / additions in a new POI file. Then when the next version comes out, I compare it with my file and delete any that have been included. |

Can you *please* remove the SPECS entries on the M11 just below Cambridge. They have been removed now for over a month -- also, no one has database'd the SPECS on the M25 going Northbound which are there temporarily. I am trying to get POICapture to work on my tom tom mobile, but without any success. I have at least TEN new camera locations to add to the database..
SHould I just record the GPS co-ordinates instead and send them in? |

Words from the very wise!
I see that several of my other submissions are included, so there is some "glitch" with the submissions. I've every confidence that come June 30th, the next release will be OK.
But just in case, I'll do the compare file routine |

if you sent it in several times then it would still need verfiying
i would think that would be taken as spamming a camera site if you send the same camera and rejected. it would need submitions from other people too the get it removed.
personally it think the database is get much better month by month _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

I agree about the verification aspect, however, when the information provided is as good as that in the previous post (picture including street name), perhaps more weight could be given to the single notification.
Obviously mrg2003 is prepared to provide data of the highest quality, and should, presumably be encouraged to continue to do so. |

I think Andy_P2002's point is that how good are the PGPSW staffs skills at spotting photo-shopped pictures?
Andy_P2002's example not only gave me a good chuckle but highlights the problems of using photos. This example may have one or two fake cameras in it (maybe even more) but I'll bet some people with 5 minutes and Photo-shop can do better. How will you verify each photo example? |

Banned for life more like it.
Anyway, I'm sure that at least one of those speed cameras is a fake anyway. _________________ Gone fishing! |
