So maybe im being daft and not looking in the correct place but i cannot find the change log for this months database.
I thought that this was now supplied so that i can see that my money is not being spent on the same Database with a new timestamp on.
I would have thought that the best place would be in the zip file of the database i wanted.
Also I have never been able to get the RSS feed to work.
Im using the Google RSS reader.
Thanks

Probably not supported by web browser based readers, Firefox live bookmarks won't work either. For whatever reason PGPSW RSS uses a .PHP extension instead of the universal .XML.
Stanalone readers like Feedreader work http://www.feedreader.com/ but don't rush, the speed camera update RSS still has not been updated. |

For non-subscribers the information is actually on the sites home page, along with a description of new supported systems etc. The same information is also present on the Speed Camera download page. So either way subscribed or not, you can still see the release information, if this were part of the download it would be a tad difficult for non-subscribers to view the information? - Mike |

Im sorry Mike but can you tell me where. I must be suffering word blindness. Nowhere can i see a Whats New or Changes log. On the home page or on the Cameras index page.
Thanks

The RSS feed is automatically updated by the database. Unfortunately something has broken is and I cant determine what it is. I assumed that you would rather have the database than wait for me to try and fix the RSS feed code. _________________ Mike Barrett |

On the home page | Taken straight from the home page "The PocketGPSWorld Speed Camera Database has just been updated there are a total of 8968 cameras in the database. 3590 Gatso, 3957 Mobiles, 65 Temporary, 140 Specs, 238 Truvelo, and 978 Redlight Cameras.
We have had a total of 13 verified static cameras added this month submitted by 9 members. All members submitting the first report of these static cameras have been credited with lifetime memberships.
This month we have added support and instructions for Route66 and also Mitac Mio268/Mio269 in our speed camera database downloads." I would have though this is what you were looking for?
Anyway at least the broken RSS feed is fixed (Thanks Mike B) - Mike |

Nope. I would be looking for a detailed version of whats been added and deleted. When you pay for any update you normally get details of fixes and known issues. Not positions of cameras ie Lon and Lat, I understand the reason for this, but Im struggling to work out if any cameras in my area have been changed. If they havent then i will wait and not pay the money and get the ones that affect me.
And the Google RSS feed still isnt fixed.
If i have paid for an yearly download feed and am not satisfied can I get money back on the remaining downloads?

BUMP.
Anyone?
Having just completed a journey on the M40. M42 M6 yesterday there are still at least 8 cameras that ar eno longer there as the road works ended two months ago.
Yes I did try POI Capture but my mio locks when trying to reload the map so its next to useless.
Can I get a Refund?
Not only do i not know if cameras are updated on my normal route though any change log. " We changed 6 cameras".
The RSS feed doesnt work on what i would assume to be one of the most popular readers ie Google. So i dont know when its been updated. Fix it or dont roll it out. But now two months after cameras are removed on major motorways they are still in a database.
If i wasnt paying then hell i cant complain. But as i am and its wrong then this surely is grounds for a refund.
