TomTOm have changed the touch screen driver again between 5.420 and 5.440 so while the display may work your screen taps are not translated correctly.
As far as we can se there is no true beneficial change between 5.420 and 5.440 (as I said before, 5.440 is really old news, it was built in december)
Nevertheless I'll look into creating POICapture versions that will work on 5.440. So watch this space. _________________ Lutz

Hi all,
Being a bit dozy, I failed to updaate from version 5.2 to 5.42. The latter has now been removed from the TomTom site in favour of 5.44. Does anyone have a link to 5.43 please?
Thanks in advance,
Chookman |

If that is a typo, and you mean 5.42, Oldboy has the old versions for the GO here. _________________ Jock

Many thanks for the quick reply, BGF. (I did mean 5.42 - the typo is due to me having a dyslexic keyboard!)
Cheers,

Does anyone have a full list of all possible menu commands, so that I can complile my menu with the commands which are relevant to me ? One command which is troubling me is
MENUITEM|TASK_MENU_PHONE|
which causes my phone icon to grey out. I have seen elsewhere in this thread that the command should perhaps be
MENUITEM|TASK_PAIR_WITH_PHONE|
but this causes my phone icon to disappear completely. I would like to re-structure my menu but don't really know what menu item relates to which icon on the menu (some of them seem obvious, but others less so).
A full list of commands anyone ? _________________ Tommo...

Have a look for a post by rtj70 on page 3 of Change TT5 menu possible, but there isn't an explanation of each command (although I haven't searched all 13 pages ). A few posts below that there is a link to an online menu builder. I know that there is also a downloadable PC app, but I can't find the link for that just now.
I don't use my phone with TomTom, so I can't actually help, but I'm sure I've seen some discussion of menu items for phones, so try some more searches.
Best of luck! _________________ Jock

Been through all 13 pages but there are no other phone commands. I wish I knew what the original menu phone command was. Can anybody dig into the depths of the TTOne to identify the default menu commands, or tell me how I can do it ? _________________ Tommo...

I think the default menu doesn't use an .mnu file, so there is nowhere to look for the commands |
