This is my first post so please bear with me if I am asking the obvious.
I have just got a Garmin Streepilot c310 which came with the City select Europe NT v7 maps. I have been browsing this forum and see that some people are getting a free upgrade to the maps that were installed on their units. My question is, have I got the latest maps? and if not, can I get an upgrade? I have looked on the Garmin website and can't find any information about this.

| Just to clarify the situation, as it appears I am eligible to the upgrade, do I just send an email to mailto:upgradeoffer.europe@garmin.com giving my details and request they sent me an upgrade. |

| I bought the c310 from Halfords a week ago (Monday 15 May). looks like it was old stock. |

Yus, sort of register with them. I've got the 320 and am still waiting for the update to be issued, they keep putting it back. I think the 310 is issued, dont know why it should be different. |

I did register for notification of updates when I registered the unit. I must say that the email they sent directed me to a page which was a right mixed bag and very not user friendly (in fact I couldn't make heads or tails of it).
I telephoned Garmin today and they said I should sent the SD card to them and they will issue a free upgrade, strange that the address for the c310 update is i2/i3 Upgrade, Freepost, GARMIN. I queried this with the woman on the phone and she said it is correct. I will send it off next week as I have a trip to Scotland this weekend and want to use the c310. |

| I have to say excellent service from Garmin, I sent off the SD card on Tuesday 30.05.06, new updated card delivered today. The POI's seem much more comprehensive. |
