No it does not, the audio output is intended to go into the Stereo for amplification before playing through the speakers, the inbuilt speaker is actually very good itself, but limitted to mono - I always go with the external feed into the cars Kenwood system - Mike |

An amplified speaker (the same type you have on your PC) will connect to the Go-910 car mount and it will then work just fine, its a shame the home mount is missing this feature, as I feel it would be worth while - still you can't have everything - Mike |

xp-
The Go910 does not have a "speaker" output i.e. an output with enough power to drive a loudspeaker.
It does have a "line" output, i.e. an output similar to the phono outputs on a C.D. player, which is suitable to feed power amplifier which in turn feeds a loudspeaker.
A "powered (or amplified) loudspeaker" is simply a power amplifier and a loudspeaker in the same box. Examples are the speakers attached to most PCs, or the little speaker systems sold for Walkmans and iPods. One of these, either battery powered or capable of being run from the 12 Volt car supply,, would work fine with the Go910. |

Why is the additional device required? If you load the mp3 to the GO-910 it will automatically perform the function of switching between music, navigation and alert warnings. All you need to make sure is you can get the audio output from the Go device into the car system. Mike |
