medion pda with gps

Hi all

Im very new to all this but am finding it all pretty dam amazing,,, i bought a medion pda with the gps software etc etc ,, it comes with medion naqvigator anyone know much about this software?? also does poi stand for places of interest??? can i install the speed camera database with this software??? if not is there any other free software that i can use with the speed camera database?? how much is it for tom tom navigator?? sorry for all the questoins but im new :s Rolling Eyes

Hi Gussy,

I can only answer one of your questions, but yes - 'POI' does stand for Point of Interest. This website has a very useful page with a lot of downloadable POI's for the UK and other countries too.

You can also make your own POIs using programs such as WinOV2 (also downloadable from this site) to convert longitude/latitude co-ordinates or OS grid references.

so what programs could i use to view poi's???

and if i installed a poi program could i view the camera database???
