garmin i3

hi there to all have 3 identical i3 garmins in the family but two have or seam to have different programs mine seams to have basic settings ie no ATM cash pionts or shops or supermarkets listed in the points of interested also in the select a country its short of specific listings for wales and some other countrys

Click on Settings / About on each unit to display the Software Version, Unit ID and Audio Version.

You can access the different software versions here: http://www.gpsinformation.org/perry/streetpilot/sp_ix/.

Many of the users on these forums have experienced problems with versions 2.9 and 3.0, and most have reverted to 2.7.

also check mapping software. when mine got the free upgrade to v8 from v7 there were new categories in the 'where to' - 'food hotels and more' menu.

well i know where the 4 gatso's and 2 mobile sites are on my 4mile trip to work on one road... so i tend not to bring my i3 with me!

I wasn't suggesting you should have checked on yours, just admitting that I didn't know the menu sequence either and had to check!
