Hi there my mate has a TomTom Go and he uses it for his job so it gets used every single day and he came to me a few days ago because his POI had dissopeared so i went to reload these back on and they were already there.. then i found out that it was because hide POI was set instead of show POI, I changed this and then worked fine..

Yesterday he phoned me to say that he keeps having to set it to show POI, he then said that while he was driving the route dissopeared and all POI were lost and found out with a bit of testing that when the TomTom Go gets hot it looses these settings..

Has any one else experienced this or is it a fault that there is an update for?

Regards
Liam

HI,

Which GO is it?

Have you tried updating the SW version?

Which POIS are you trying to display?

I seem to remember some of the earlier GO's had a problem with the car charging unit which could cause the GO to overheat.

It may be as simple as a new car charging lead.....

If not that TWO year gaurantee might just come in useful Wink
