Hi, I've just joined here and tried to download the speed camera program. It loads to the desktop, but takes no more than half a second and there's hardly anything in the file. Can anybody help? |

Well it's not very big now that you only download the rquired Files.
What exactly have you got on the PC? Have you tried UnZipping it?
What Files does it contain?
Tell us, and we'll do our best to help.;) _________________ Richard

I've unzipped it and I've got
Need Help
Licence
Release
Pocket Gps bitmap
Pocket GPS.uk.sc.ov2
It seays in the help bit that I should copy the ov2 and bit files but not the folders. I can't open the folders though as windows doesn't recognise the ov2 files. |

OK. What you have downloaded is the Single Camera File. This contains all the Cameras in 1 File.
When you have UnZipped the File you only need to Copy/Paste the OV2 and the BMP File into the Map Folder. There are no Folders in the Zip File.
You will then need to go to Change Preferences | Manage POI to setup Warn When Near for the Device to give Audible Warning of the Cameras. _________________ Richard

So just copy over the files
Pocket Gps bitmap
Pocket GPS.uk.sc.ov2

I can't see what you might mean as the folders are already open and you have the files you need in front of you. Windows might not recognise the ov2 but that won't stop you copying the files over to the TomTom. If Windows is giving you error messages about not recognising the ov2 files it sounds like you are trying to open them (or double cliking on them). You don't need to open them. |
