Will road preferences ever be introduced into TT s/w, so that you can select which type of roads are used when planning your journey this would assist drivers of larger vehicles:
example:
M/w - 90%
A-Rd - 80%
B-Rd - 30%
C-Rd - 0%
others - 0% |

That's been requested for ages. No sign of it, and as v6 software is just launched, its unlikely to happen anytime soon.
All I can suggest is send your suggestion to TOmTom direct, but don't hold out much hope. |

Thats the one thing I prefer about my Garmin 2610--It gave you the option of selecting the type of vehicle so the route was planned on that. |

You used to get it on Tom Tom V 2.0, thats was the thing i missed when going from a PDA to the Classic GO. The should bring it back then make it an option to use that or what their current algorythm does. |

Thanx for that Andy_P2002 wasn't sure if it had been suggested before, but I suppose it would need a high number of users to reply before anything is done. and as Ugly-Joe-Kid says it could be an option for the users who want to use it.
