Hi all,

I have just been reading up on stuff on the garmin site and came across the mapping perspective as they call it, it says you can view either in 3D or 2D-birds eye view. Now I have just had it on the setting that it was set on when I first bought it, but as a matter of interest , which is the best way to view the maps 3D or 2D? or is it a matter of personal taste ?

All views and opinions greatly appreciated and I wonder how Matb got on with his balls, sorry , installing his mount!! By the way, where`s that photo!

regards....... Out of here Dilwyn.

dilwyn you bring sunshine to my life Laughing

i know you like my opinion so here it is.
i have mine set on that track up ? thing not the 3d or north.

find it refreshes quicker and you can have map detail set higher than normal without over doing the display.

i am not being pushy just interested in your view.
my reasons for track up are less clutter on screen even with map view set higher than normal, screen refreshes quicker and easier to take in at a quick glance.
north setting would find disorientating as i could be going a different way on the screen than the way my car was pointing. a feeling of motion sickness.

so why seems the best Question
