Hi, Im about to purchase TomTom 2 for my o2 XDA, can I get away with using my existing 128mb SD card (i have abot 40-50mb of other stuff I want to keep on the Same card, leaving me with around 80-90mb for maps...not enough for full UK map), as I read that the maps can be split into 16,32, 64 segments.
What does each segment cover ?
99% of all my travelling is going to be in the South West, south and South East of England. Without any need for maps of Wales, Scotland, North England and probably not the Midlands either.

You can load maps in either Full, 64, 32 or 16Mb increments.
64Mb gives you North or South which would probably be enough for your purposes, alternatively the 32Mb sectional maps are split into: North, Central, South-East or South-West and the 16Mb maps are Scotland, London, Birmingham, Newcastle, South-West, Wales, Manchester or Norwich.
Having said all the above, a 256MB SD card would only cost approx £60 and allow you to load the whole map set with plenty of space for other files. _________________ Darren Griffin
