I have just launched www.wayfinderlife.co.uk
A site dedicated to Wayfinder Navigator.
Loads of sites for tomtom users and nothing for Wayfinder. Also included in the links section a link to this site. Not trying to take over, just compliment. |

Good luck with the new site. Always good to have some fresh perspective. _________________ Lutz

Hi,
Looks like that's going to be a good site.
Just registered and waiting for activation!
I've downloaded the trial version and will give that a blast tomorrow (FRIDAY 28th)
Going from Lincoln down to Benfleet so should be interesting!
Just playing with it and have found some strange things.
Typed in my home address in FAVORITE but wouldn't find it.
Typed in the company I'm going to in Benfleet clicked "Navigate to" and all I got was errors, and cant get route to address.
Cleared all of this from favorites and went into "find menu" put in address and added to favorites that way seems all ok now.
How do I get the different "navigation" views up? have got the map display ok and the default "guide view but can't find any of the others.
Will this also run in 3D view? looks only 2D at the moment.
Will only use it in guide view, as I will be paying a fortune in GPRS data without being able to download maps.
Cheers

Have found out how to change the different navigation views, form guide itinerary view, etc
Easy really, still can't find anything on the 2D/3D view though? |

You are contradicting yourself here...
Anyhow, no 3D mode. Just 2D. _________________ Lutz

Thankyou,
I see what you mean.
What I should have said was, I will only use guide view for the time being as I can't pre-install any maps to the phone as it's only the trial version.
Downloading map data using GPRS will cost too much.
Doesn't matter you answered the question, no 3D view.
Cheers

Even in the full version you cannot preinstall maps. It makes little sense anyhow since dynamic map refresh is supposed to be one of the selling arguments for offboard systems (and a revenue stream for your GPRS provider :x ) _________________ Lutz
