I have recently started using nav2, with no problems using tomtom bluetooth receiver.
I wanted to try GPSassist, but although it seems to install, when i try and run it, it says that gpsassist.vb is not associated with any application? There doesnt seem to be an exe?

Hi Rick,
Do yourself a favour and remove GPSAssist. It hasn't kept pace with the various upgrades to TTNav, and is long overdue for a re-write. The author intends doing this, and I for one am really looking forward to it's release because it was (is) a great piece of thirdparty software. It seems to cause random problems now. Form an orderly queue here please.

I heard it rumoured but that was months ago and there appear to have been no new versions since April or so

Unfortunately until we hear more, you'll have to consider GPSAssist dead, as I have no new information to suggest a new version is being worked on. |
