I downloaded the desktop and PPC versions 6.0.1.22 from the www.alk.eu.com site on 17th March, but it doesn't seem to be there now. I wonder if they have withdrawn it because there were problems.

I too have at least weekly searched for a patch on ALK's EU site but never found one. That is why I concluded that Neil01's reference to CP 6.0.1.22 as a "US patch" was fair enough. _________________ Dell Axims X50v & X30 (both WM 2003 2nd Edition). I seem to have been mistaken! When vipergrn announced last month that 6.0.1.22 was available, I followed the link from his message - I didn't notice that it pointed at the USA site!
However, I installed it and it did provide one or two benefits compared with my original version, though not all the bugs have been fixed.

well i wonder if ALK will deliver on that promise.
I hope for all you CP6 users that they do, and I count my blessings that they couldn't be bothered to process my upgrade request all those months ago otherwise i'd probably be desperately waiting for the updates as well. |

Hi
When I spoke to UK support this afternoon about a few 'questions' he remarked about the patch being due for release on or just after May2nd.
Apparently, when it was being checked out they found something that needed amending :o
What he could not tell was the list of bugs/fixes that it will be curing

Was the year mentioned?
But seriously, with all these delays, the patch will need to be brilliant to satisfy users. |

Well May 2nd passed without a release. I wonder what the definition for 'just after' is - today, this week, or this month? |

Don't hold your breath......
We've been waiting for the traffic bits since CP4,and that was three years ago........
Looks like ALK are steering away from the PDA side of things and concentrating on the mobile-phone market....I'd like to be proved wrong.. |

ALK are sponsering the Gumball Rally - providing all the competitors with O2 Xda's with Copilot 6 software.
Makes me wonder what version they have given them - perhaps they are the beta testers for the patch that we are all waiting for!

It is very much looking as if we are not getting the patch this week. |

Because I was told by "support" it was due this week, I asked again.
They replied that it had been postponed and was due in the next 2 weeks. So perhaps they are waiting for the Gumball rally feedback

This patch is starting to look very much like Queen Mary's pregnancy. |
