If you registered it with Tom Tom they should be able to assist with the serial number, make sure you list it on here and also some of the other websites for Stolen Gps ie immobilise and i am not sure but i think i saw it on Ray Flans site or one of the Moderators site.
On a separate note is your insurance going to cover it? _________________ TomTom 300

everything is covered by insurance but i am paying for everything privatly mainly because the insurance stuff in the UK is seriously messed up.
I just ordered myself a new tom tom 500 (which i had previously). All i have is the box and activate product card. Nothing much i can do because i didnt write down the serial.
HOWEVER i did backup the memory card before it got stolen.
at one point i registered it with tom tom but after i re-visited the site it had been removed for some odd reason.
what steps do i need to take to ensure this tom tom i recieve is secure and registered?
is there a way to password these things? |

Thats not the main reason, the reason is, you left it in your car. it may equally have been nicked if you'd cleaned it off, either because it was a chance breakin, or you were watched. there are anecdotal reports of people in car parks watching to see what people do with their sat navs.
