TomTom Go 500 issues

Hi,

I myself have had TomTom for a couple of years on my PocketPC. My dad has now got a TTG 500 on my recommendation.

The problem is that twice now in a month it has gone dead. The green light goes on but nothing at all comes on the screen. I managed to get it going again by pressing the reset button but it is annoying as it resets the time on it.

Anyone else had this problem or can anyone shed any light on it?

Yeah I had the same problem for a while but it sorted itself out after a while my own, one thing I have done though is create my own sdk with help of the builder and placed a clock icon on the tom tom so that if it does happen I can chage the time quite easily.
