Rich,

Sadly I spent 2.5x as much on my set-up which I'm pleased with, but it's probably not worth the extra.

Too late for me Sad

Cheers,

aero.

One more thing might be I should mention here. There is no setup at all. Just press a few buttons and off I go. No need to pay another 30 GBP for installation!

Aero. Don't feel bad. You have a better quality stuff after all. To me, I don't even use my pda as dairy or mp3 player. To others, it could be important. I don't have a cf slot. Might you have in yours. I would not worry about it. It was just pure luck. I went to Madrid last week, and that was the only reason I delayed my purchase. Otherwise, I would have gone for a tomtom 2 and mmf package. Might be you need a feng shui consultation to improve your money luck...... oooops. Dave is going to kick me off the list now.....

Rich,

I use my stuff almost purely for navigation;
I don't have a cf slot;
I'm not bitter;

aero.

Any way to cut it short I have got one of them from aldi for my birthday which is on monday so can't open it til then as its form my parents.

But I am wanting a speed cam program to put on it. What works best with this system? I am newish to this so just wondering what will work best and can I have the nav and the speed cam program on at the same time? Already been on the speed cam bit on the site but would they work?

Going down to france next weekend so will see how the pda copes

Roy the reason why you have an invalid session is that you are using a pop-up stopper, or cookie blocker, or have privacy software installed to avoid tracking. The forum software requires this to be able to tell when you last visited the forum, then to store a cookie on your PC. Either put an include in for the site to stop it blocking, or disable your privacy sofwtare and this will rectify the problem.

Sometimes this can also be part of your firewall software, ZoneAlarm also has a privacy feature.

Roy, Nothing will work with Navigon, you will have to have a standalone package, which then will require another GPS Receiver to be plugged in because only one application can access a GPS feed at anyone point in time.

TrafCam will work www.trafcam.com but their website is currently down due to a fire in their offices, it hopefully will be up soon.

It is a subscription database, and you also have to be careful about running any speed detection systems across Europe as Europeans are a lot more stringent on the use of such systems.

If you haven't read the review already and whilst you wait for the TrafCam website to come back online, we have a review available here at
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/trafcam.php

It's dated about a year ago and may have changed a lot since.

If you need something just for navigation, go for it. I still have no regret about it yet. I have not even bother to instead active sync yet.
