If it's been used then it won't work on your device _________________ Gee-Pee

When you buy your Navman, it comes with a map/s pre-activated. If you want to buy more maps, you need to buy an activation key - comes with the legal purchase on CD Rom.
Maps are installed via the Smart ST Desktop programme which recognises your product activation.
I don't know if the maps will work if already put on to a SD card and swopped between machines. I'm sure Navman will have thought of that.
Their actions to protect their software is not unlike other software manufacturers who licence and protect their products. A licence comes with software and is valid for one machine - if you want to use it on multiple machines you are supposed to buy more licences. _________________ Gee-Pee
