I'm not sure if Canada is Nav or Tele, There are so many errors I probably wouldnt know where to begin citys like "Brampton Ontario" (400,000 people) being mislabled "Cambridge" even in massive citys like Toronto with over 3 million people not showing the correct locations for streets that are over 25 years old! |

Canada maps are TeleAtlas. It actually says that in the "about" screen of the TomTom Navigator. _________________ Lutz

|
|
Hi: I'm running TTN5 on my PDA. For the latest UK maps, is there a cheap upgrade (I think not), or would we have to buy them for full price, as though 'from scratch'? If the latter - seems pretty mean, seeing as there are plenty of innacuracies on TTN5 maps...
Thanks _________________ frmarcus |

Is the unit running low on memory? check how much is avail in settings/ memory, also while in this screen click the running programs tab and see how many programs are still running, select STOP ALL to end any applications, then try TomTom again, if this doesn't work download the latest TTN application for your device (TTNvs5,21) from www.tomtom.com and try loading that on to the device - Mike |

:D Hi everyone,
First time on here and just want to say that I have joined the ranks and am 'as happy as larry' with my system (O2 XDA 2i with TTN5 and TT bluetooth).
I am a long distance lorry driver and use it mainly for speed cameras as It does try to send me down roads I cannot go. It is excellent for forward planning and if I can work out how to transfer the program onto a bigger chip so that I can download more poi's I would be very happy indeed.
It is good to know that there are so many people on here willing to help us sort out our problems and get the most out of something I never dreamt of when I started driving 30 years ago.
Thanks one and all.
