Go to preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn when near POI and have a look at what you have set in here for each camera, you can change the audio alert and try each one until you find one less "alarming" or have a search for spoken alerts on this site where by the device will issue a spoken alert giving you information as to the type and speed of the camera you are approaching - Mike |

Have not touched any settings.
it only happens on certain cameras?
will have to pay more attention when it next happens. |

Like Mikealder said, go to "Manage POI" -- "Warn when near POI" and check each and every camera related POI's settings, one or two of them have been given and audible alarm which you can stop or change.
Some of them must have a little speaker symbol next to the name of the POI, like all the McDonalds on mine go "Mooooo" within a 1000 yrds :D
And all my cameras are "Polite 1" which works for me. |
